The latest Regional and State Employment and Unemployment (Monthly) news release has been posted on the BLS website at http://www.bls.gov/news.release/pdf/laus.pdf and also archived at http://www.bls.gov/news.release/archives/laus_03282014.pdf. Highlights are below. Jobless rate down in 29 states, up in 10 in Feb.; payroll jobs up in 33 states, down in 17 03/28/2014 In February, 29 states had over-the-month unemployment rate decreases, 10 states had increases, and 11 states and the District of Columbia had no change. Nonfarm payroll employment increased in 33 states and decreased in 17 states and the district. HTML | PDF | RSS
