The latest Employment Cost Index news release has been posted on the BLS website at http://www.bls.gov/news.release/pdf/eci.pdf and also archived at http://www.bls.gov/news.release/archives/eci_10282016.pdf. Highlights are below. Compensation costs up 0.6% from June 2016 to Sept 2016 and up 2.3% over the year 10/28/2016 Compensation costs increased 0.6 percent for civilian workers, seasonally adjusted, from June 2016 to September 2016. Over the year, compensation rose 2.3 percent, with wages and salaries up 2.4 percent and benefits up 2.3 percent. HTML | PDF | RSS | Charts
