The case:

If we ask from Pakistanis about their future plans, most of them will show their desire to go abroad for their bright future.  This is also true that a good number of skilled and qualified Pakistanis have already settled abroad for a better future. This phenomenon is called brain drain or human capital flight. The problem of brain drain is very common in the developing countries. Pakistan is also a worst hit country by brain drain. Skilled and expert persons are migrating to other countries. According to the rough estimates, more than two third of Pakistani people wants to go out of the country. This figure has become unbearable in year 2011 and is a big question mark on the long term growth of Pakistan as “no nation can achieve long term economic growth by exporting its human resources”.

Requirement:

Being a student of economics, logically discuss the impact of this movement of people on Gross Domestic Product (GDP) of Pakistan. In your opinion, what steps should be taken to control the problem of brain drain.

The topic is Brain Drain.... Let’s talk about why People try to go to Abroad after study or after learn something great.

Reasons:

• Most of the people prefer to go to abroad after study because in Pakistan there are not many opportunities available to serve.
• When they go to abroad they are respected a lot which is the source of attraction for all who want to go abroad.
• It has become our society approach that we just study to do a better job and to earn lots of money
• In Pakistan there is no job security
• There are no basic facilities for them like education for children, health facilities and others like that
• When people see these facilities and charm then they definitely decide to go abroad.

How to overcome that problem 

• We can control this factor by providing job opportunities to them and it can only be done when we bring foreigner investors in Pakistan
• Those who are the assets of Pakistan must be sent to abroad by the government on a contract that they will serve in Pakistan after completing their trainings and educations.
• Government Sector must be upgraded in order to have a plate form for those who want to do something.
• Services given by those in Pakistan must be rewarded in a graceful way
• All the facilities must be provided to those people who are serving in Pakistan
• Schemes and plans must be announced
