Were You Bullied as a Kid? Would You Like to Help End Bullying?
No one should be harassed, made fun of, bullied and driven to the breaking point of wanting to hurt himself or others. Some kids live in a quiet world of pain, feeling ashamed, embarrassed, or too scared of repercussions to talk about the bullying that is happening to them. Adults can help in the fight against bullying.
The Bullying Prevention Training Center offers a host of materials and tips for educators, bus drivers and others who work with kids. The site offers guidance to recognize the signs of bullying; ways to encourage kids to come forward when they are being bullied, or when they witness someone else being bullied; and how to create a safe, consistent, anti-bullying environment for everyone.
