Forbes India Celebrity 100: Virat Kohli beats Bollywood stars Posted: 20 Dec 2019 03:38 PM PST Indian cricketer Virat Kohli is earning more than any Bollywood star.  The star batsman has clinched top position on the Forbes India Celebrity 100 List for 2019. It is for the first time in eight years since the launch of Forbes India Celebrity 100 List that the Indian captain has replaced the actors at the pole position. He started challenging Bollywood Khans-Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan and Aamir Khan, in 2018 and managed to topple the entire Bollywood this year. "The 31-year-old is now perched right at the top on the back of ₹252.72 crore he earned between October 1, 2018, and September 30, 2019 (our period under consideration). This was through match fees, the BCCI central contract, brand endorsements and an eight-figure fee for every sponsored Instagram post," according to Forbes India Salman Khan, who had been ruling at the top since 2016, slipped to No 3 after Akshay Kumar climbed to No 2.

However, the film has now been postponed as Sanjay was not sure about the script. Nikhil told, “Yes, it almost happened. Both SRK and SK had agreed to come together, we were excited about it. But I believe Mr Bhansali wasn’t very happy with the second half of the script and wanted more time to work on it.” Fans have been aching to see the Karan-Arjun duo on the screens again but the producer did not seem very hopeful about it. Talking about the possibility about Sanjay’s film revival, he expressed, “I have my doubts.” Apart from the films, Zero and Tubelight, in which both the stars made special appearances, the duo hasn’t done any full-fledged project together for a very long time. On the work front, the Sultan actor returned as Chulbul Panday in his recently released film, Dabangg 3 co-starring Sonakshi Sinha, Saiee Manjrekar and Arbaaz Khan in lead roles. Whereas King Khan was last seen in Katrina Kaif starrer, Zero.

Bollywood star Varun Dhawan is all set to marry his girlfriend Natasha Dalal early next year, according to reports floating on the internet. Pinkvilla citing reliable sources reported that Varun Dhawan and Natasha will marry in April or May 2020. Earlier, the actor and the girlfriend were set to get married in December this year, however, the date was postponed as Varun was focusing on his upcoming film Street Dancer. Natasha had also confirmed recently that marriage was on the cards eventually. Meanwhile, Varun Dhawan has denied such reports. Speaking about her love story with Varun, Natasha told Hindustan Times earlier last month: “Varun and I were in school together. We stayed friends until we were in our mid-20s and then, I remember, we started dating just before I moved away. It was around then that, I think, we realised we were more than just good friends.” The film Street Dancer will hit the screen in January 2020.

Ira recently made her directorial debut with the play, Medea, and is now garnering her own fandom. The 22-year-old posted pictures from her ecstatic photo shoot on Instagram that soon went viral. Dressed up in a bright red corset silk gown, Ira climbed up the tree to pose in front of the tree house. She captioned the picture as, “I always wanted a tree house!” Not just the fans but actor Aditi Rao Hydari was amazed by her charm. She commented down “Love” on one of the clicks. Ira had also shared other pictures from the same photo shoot last month in which she can be seen posing, standing up on a chair with stilettos in her hand. In another photo, she is captured relaxing on the stairs looking like no less than a diva.
