Claims about Shah Rukh Khan's arrest in London over anti-CAA protest fact-checked Posted: 31 Dec 2019 02:46 PM PST Bollywood star Shah Rukh Khan was recently called out for his silence over the issue of protests against  Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA),  a law that discriminates against Muslims. While some people from the B-town were questioning his silence, some social media users started sharing a picture of the Bollywood King with a misleading caption on Facebook. According to some Facebook posts carrying his picture, Shah Rukh Khan was arrested in London for taking part in protests against CAA. The video went viral on the internet, with fans expressing concern over the actor's whereabouts. An Indian media outlet has now reported that an investigation into the claims and pictures being circulated has found the reports of Khan's arrest as false. According to India Today, the picture was taken in 2012 when Khan arrived at BBC Radio’s office in London. Earlier this month, one of Bollywood’s leading directors called on three superstar actors—Shahr Rukh Khan, Salman Khan and Aamir Khan— break their silence about a new citizenship law that has triggered riots in India, saying they could influence millions of fans.

Krishna is reportedly enjoying vacations with her boyfriend, Eban Hyams, who is a basketball player by profession. The couple started dating this year, and looks like the duo is having fun together. Krishna recently posted a lovely photo with boyfriend on Instagram captioned, “Always making me laugh. Grateful to have met my best friend, twin soul, and love this year.” While the picture surely turned the heads up, the thing that garnered the most attention was Tiger Shroff’s comment on sister’s upload, possibly inviting a desi bro-sis war on internet. Tiger commented, “Eban…poor guy”.  Well, this isn’t the first time Tiger has done this, and tried to tease her sister. The War actor previously commented on a bikini-clad photo of Krishna with a nauseated emoji. Hmm… waiting for a sibling war to start! For the record, Krishna is three years younger than Tiger, and has clearly remarked that she has no plans to become an actor. Varun was quoted by IANS saying,"While growing up, I was inspired by a lot of hip-hop artists like Eminem, and I think that's when my love for dance also kicked in. " "I've been lucky enough to pursue it through my films with iconic dancers like Remo D'souza Sir and Prabhudheva Sir. Since then, it's been incredible to see the evolution and growing popularity of this fun and inspiring art form in the country." He believes, "Artistic individuals are leveraging hip-hop to spread knowledge, emotions and opinions and it's so great to see the 'janta' accept and encourage it. I'm sure it's only going to get bigger with each passing year." The star hopes his association with dance, through productions like Street Dancer 3D inspires people to showcase their own versions of self expression through the median of dance. He stated, "Street Dancer itself has been quite an intense experience, training for almost six hours a day, three months straight. We learnt many different dance forms, including krumping, hip-hop, old school and b-boying." Through his experiences within the industry, and working with stars like Eshwar Tiwari, aka Bboy Wild Child, Neeraj Pandey, rappers Dee MC and Void, as well as dancer Nivedita Sharma and graffiti artiste Jheel Goradia, he has come to understand, "Working closely with these artistes and with those on the sets of Street Dancer 3D has made me realize what this community stands for and has made me respect the genre a lot more. Sharon Osbourne faces backlash for firing her husband's assistant Posted: 31 Dec 2019 07:38 AM PST  Photo: PEOPLE Sharon Osbourne recently found herself under a large amount of backlash after it was revealed that she fired her husband's assistant, who she forced inside a burning building for the sake of her dogs just moments prior.  During a recent episode of a BBC game show, Would I Lie To You? Sharon recalled the year she and Ozzy were home for Christmas and her house caught fire by a candle that the star was gifted for the holidays. “This alarm was ringing and ringing,” The talk host said. “A fire alarm. I sent him [Ozzy] down. And so he went down, and suddenly I hear my name being called. ‘Sharon, Sharon, help me!’ " Sharon explained, “I went downstairs and there he was in the living room and his arm was on fire. He had a sling on. And half his hair was all on fire.” After finding out that Ozzy was still sleeping throughout the crisis, Sharon revealed she used a magazine to help stop the fire that caught onto his shirt, but to no avail. Realizing that there was a fountain outside her house, the star revealed, “I pushed Ozzy out and then the arm and his hair stopped. And then I think ‘Right, where is that assistant?’ So I go into the guest house and he’s going, ‘Everything Alright?’ and I’m like ‘No, house is on fire. Get out, help. Go in and get the paintings out.’ " “There were dogs, and I said ‘You must go in and find the dogs,’ ” she recalling telling her assistant, "So he did get the dogs, and the fire engines arrive. Very lovely people. They came and they had this oxygen for the assistant. So then I said to him ‘How very dare you, you work here, and you get more paintings out right now.’ “ She stated, “I took the mask and I put it on my dog.” Her statement garnered a lot of laughter and applause from the audience. She went onto say that that was the time where she decided to fire her husband's assistant. “After this terrible night, he was not talking to me,” Sharon recalled. “And Ozzy and I were counting everything and we were laughing and laughing and he goes ‘I don’t see what’s funny about any of this. I think I am going to have damaged lungs.’" “So then, I just said ‘If you don’t think that’s funny, do you think this is funny?’ And he said, ‘What?’ And I said, ‘You’re fired,’ ” Sharon said, again receiving applause and laughter from the studio. Once the judges decided on whether they thought this story was true, and the truth revealed to co-inside with Sharon's story, fans took up arms on social media, expressing their disappointment with Sharon over her decision. The story gave birth to a slew of comments, featuring the disappointment and rage of fans. Some wrote “I hope they sue for everything,” while others retorted, “Sharon Osbourne really showed her true colors, didn’t she.”

The 50-year-old actor-producer recently opened up about why he has decided not confining himself  to entertaining films only but also want to do informative ones. “Apart from the film being grand and carrying a message, it is also educative, it is informative. It is an interesting story to watch and such combination is rare. Besides the story line, I am always inclined to create new things like when I wanted to make this film we worked on 3D and technology in a way that it should look new. Visually we are very happy with the film,” Ajay told PTI News. The Singham actor expressed that he wants his films to highlight the glory of many real heroes of India who usually stays unnamed in our history. “I hope they realize the freedom that we have achieved with such difficulties and sacrifices,” he added. Reflecting on the idea of making a film on Maratha warrior, Ajay told, “When he narrated me the idea I liked it very much. In schools, there was just one para about him in textbooks. It is amazing that how people like him sacrificed their lives. Even if the story was fictional it has that kind of power to excite you – it has heroism, drama, emotions. There are so many such heroes, who have sacrificed their lives for the country.” Working on a historical film with lack of available information has been a real challenge for the filmmakers as the actor expressed, “We have gone through all history books, spoken to many historians. We have spoken to Tanhaji Malusare’s family.” “We have done right as much as we can. But in our country if there are five historians they contradict each other. We are prepared for that. We have not tried to do anything wrong. We have dramatized a few things, like the scenes between Tanhaji and Shivaji Maharaj or Tanhaji and his wife. There is a thin line that you have to walk on with history while dramatizing it and not go wrong,” he added. The film also has Kajol and Saif Ali Khan in lead roles and is slated to hit the silver screen on January 10, 2020.
